Any Foodland is good! In the deli section, the poke here is so good- they have about 20 different types and it's so fresh and the flavors are so tasty! ALLERGY WARNING- they do have kukui nut in some of them. We've never had it before so we just made sure not to order it. They have a nice variety of prepackaged salads. I didn't figure out until our third trip there, why they didn't have salad dressings with the salads, when the nice cashier said that there was a little bowl of dressings that I could choose from haha. The musubis are just okay- they put too much rice in and it's not always evenly cooked. Better to go to Musubi Iyasumi for musubis. They had a bunch of other hot foods I wanted to try, but just didn't have time. I also bought a few inexpensive cute insulated food bags- wish they had more designs! Will have to come back again!

I find myself at Foodland a lot of the times at their various locations. I'm mostly there for their ready to eat items. I love their poke, bentos and salt & vinegar wings. Out of all their locations this is the only location that sells the miso tako. When I'm in the area I always make a stop to get it. I wish they would make it in town. It's so yummy and one of my faves. I also got some of the kim chee raw crab poke. They sell this at most Foodlands. It was my first time trying their butter mochi. It was pretty good and all the different varieties temped me. I saw the regular, chocolate, ube and lilikoi. I love anything lilikoi and gave that a shot. It was a little tart, but balanced out the butter mochi in a nice way. The cashier also sold me on one of their Aloha Friday Foodland bags. He told me that if I bring the bag on Fridays I would get double the points for my purchases.

This was our first stop immediately after leaving the airport. So many things to choose to eat that are ready to go. So many poke options for a good price, we almost couldn't decide. And if you don't like raw fish they have plate lunch options as well. Foodland also has all your grocery needs. Foodland is a staple and for good reason. This was our first stop this time back and would recommend it for any first timers visiting Honolulu.

Love this cute foodland farms. Recent resident of Hawaii Kai has me venturing out to shop in all kine places. This foodland has surprised me with the turkey necks and gizzards as well as beef tongue. You find these items just anywhere. With thanksgiving this week I'll be making a Turkey neck gravy and I am stoked. This location is the Aina Haina shopping center. There's lots of free parking and tons of food places nearby. There's even a post office. Go check it out. The have tons of specialty items as well.

I know its a little strange to leave a review of a grocery store based on their newspaper selection, but Foodland Farms in the Aina Haina Shopping Center is a weekly stopover so I can get my weekly fix. The newspapers are at the service counter at the front of the store. They often carry the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Investors Business Daily, Barons, and Financial Times. Even though I have online subscriptions, i love to read physical newspapers and browse through sections, and rip out articles I want to read later. Even though the selection of newspapers varies from week to week (and the Wall Street Journal is always days behind) I usually find one or more papers to buy. I'm glad that they continue to keep the weekend papers out into the week. I thought I was the only one who went in for papers, but the other day, I saw someone tossing several papers into their grocery cart. Thank you Foodland Farms Aina Haina, for also providing some mental sustenance too!

Hadn't been to this location since they had the renovation to Foodland Farms and I was very impressed! What a facelift! It looks so modern, clean, and new inside. Great prices as usual on the sale items!

Foodland Farms is a great supermarket for poke and other Hawaiian treats. It was a little hard to find this location using Google maps, but we eventually found the front. When you enter, the poke section is on the very left side of the store. The hot foods is on the very right side of the store. We picked up three types of poke - furikake ahi, ahi california roll, and fresh salmon. We also bought some spam musubi, a side of rice, and some ube butter mochi. As expected, the poke was fresh and delicious! All three flavors were great, but I would rank them 1. Fresh Salmon, 2, Ahi California Roll, and 3. Furikake Salmon (a bit on the sweet side). The ube mochi was surprisingly really good! It was soft, fresh, and very enjoyable. I didn't eat the spam musubi till the next day, so it got cold, but it was okay. The lady who worked in the poke section was really cool and provided great customer service. We enjoyed our food and shopping experience.

I've always been skeptical of grocery store sushi, but Foodland trumps all doubts, and of course you can't beat their prices for poke by the pound. We picked up a Hawaiian sushi combo at the grab n' go area and it tasted like it had been made to order! We weren't given chopsticks at this location for our poke purchases and it honestly slipped our minds.

Foodland makes the best poke, but this location may be only one that doesn't make poke. What they lack in poke, they make up for in friendly, attentive service, fresh foods especially fruits and clean, well organized store. We were greeted with a smile the moment we entered and offered a freshly cleaned cart. At least three people offered to help us during our short visit. The deli counter is filled with a great assortment of Hawaiian barbecue, salads and more. We picked up freshly made sushi for lunch which was excellent. There is plenty of parking and the store is accessible. Masks are currently required.
